Robert McKellar

Rob is a highly experienced Microlight Flying Instructor and Flight Examiner. Rob took up flying after leaving the Royal Air Force as an engineer. Instructing on both Flexwing and Fixed wing microlights for the past 23 years. Gaining his Instructor rating in 2000, via Gerry Breen's Flight School in Portugal, he has flown expeditions and trained students in the UK, France, Spain and Portugal. From flying over 'Crop Circles' in Wiltshire, to flying over the desert in Libya, 'Mine Clearing', there isn't much Rob hasn't seen in Microlighting. With over 9000 hrs (4000 in flexwing and 5000 in fixed wing microlights), he is a Flight Examiner, Ground Examiner, Inspector and Check Pilot, making Rob one of the most experienced Microlight Instructors in the UK.
